_______________________________
David is a filmmaker from Sonora, Mexico, currently studying Cinematic Arts at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Inspired by early 2000s indie films, he picked up a camera at fourteen and has not stopped since. He has produced over 150 photo and video projects across narrative, music, and commercial work.
After moving to Utah in 2017, David began shaping his voice through narrative shorts with Weber State University’s Studio 76, followed by music videos and creative collaborations across the state. He has provided photography and videography services for breweries, festivals, small businesses, and community events throughout Utah.
His mini documentary Zahir won Best of Fest at the 2024 WATIF International Film Festival, and his music video The Necklace Song earned national recognition at the BEA Festival of Media Arts. Another music video, The Lonely Wanderer, screened at the 2025 FilmQuest Film Festival.
David brings vulnerability and sincerity to every frame, continuing to pursue the creative path he set himself on as a teenager.
